Ok, this is the third time that I've had Dr. Thomas, and she is one of my fav prof's at SMU. I think she is hilarious, and if you go to class and do your quizes, participate... you will definitely get an A. All the other ppl complaining because they didn't do well obviously didn' put enough effort in. She is a wonderful prof.

Gillian Thomas has to be the worst professors I have had in my four years at SMU! I find her instructions very unclear and she is never around if you need help. Not to mention that she had lost my final paper! So what ever you do, make sure that you keep copies of everything!If you want to keep your GPA up, don't take her!

She was one of the worst prof's I have ever had. She gave me a D at the end...I have NEVER gotten a D. Tip: When you tell a student to interpret a piece of writing, you can't tell them what to think. Unless it's totally off, as in, they clearly didn't read it, then **** off and admit that there might be another way of thinking.!!! She's Hateful!!!!

I loved this class. Every question I had did not go unanswered. Dr.Thomas went out of her way to explain so much. She is not a hard prof at all (I got an A in the class), as long as you do your work. If you stay on top of your readings, you'll do great.

Dr. Thomas is a very nice lady. I get As in all of my other courses. I think I'm going to get a D in this one. She's a very hard marker and it fels like she expected us to know the material as well as she did. Some things we were expected to know were impossible with the short time limits given.

Gillian Thomas is by no means an easy prof, and i think she would be insulted to hear it. She is one of the most informed people i have ever met and she pushes you to know more yourself. if you DON'T do your work she notices...and if you're not doing your work, then you shouldn't be in the class.
