Gina is very knowledgeable about art and though she may sometimes be biased towards art that she finds aesthetically pleasing, she knows a lot about her field. This class was fun, but don't expect it to be an easy A. You have to work for a good grade, so if you're a motivated art student I do recommend this teacher.

Professor Dominique is an interesting Art teacher. I ended up with B's in all of her classes. I learned a lot from her. She is very knowledgable in Art and Art History which I also had her for. She is not an easy instructor, but as long as you work in her class you will do well.

If you want to learn about art or art history take this professor. She's straightforward and honest. She teaches drawing, advanced drawing, art histories and painting. She's not easy, but she is fair and you will learn what you need to know.

Gina is simply a brilliant teacher. She is completely knowledgeable in every perspective of art and art history, and she is a profound, effectual orator. Gina was always there for me when I needed her aid, whether in person or by email, and she did her absolute best to help her students grasp the knowledge she was communicating to them.

I transferred to a 4 year college some time after taking this class. The only benefit of the class was that it transferred. You will not produce appropriate portfolio work or develop your skills. This class was a waste of my time, I'm considering taking another drawing 2 class at my current school, because I got nothing out of this one.

Gina is an great studio art and art history teacher. She delivers interesting lectures and encourages participation from students. She stays invested in the modern art scene as new artists continually produce new work. The assignments she gives in studio classes give students a solid jumping off point and allows them to have freedom in their work.

I've had Gina for all three Art History classes at Delta and had no problem with her. She is a very knowledgeable of the topics and is highly enthusiastic about the what's being discussed. She generally is very clear with her explanations. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing to take the Art History classes at Delta.

The class isn't absolutely horrible, it's just not incredibly good. The homework is pretty easy once you get the hang of it but the online quizzes are difficult. It's all open book but some of the questions are rather ambiguous or not very clear. So, if you're just taking this class for an for a credit and not because you like art; Don't!

Now I am attending Wayne State University for my BA in Art History. Gina's class has prepared me for every class I have taken at the University. She is smart, passionate and her classes are always excellent. She is very helpful and easy to talk to. You will learn a lot and perhaps even find a new love for art history after her survey courses!

Gina influenced me to expand my horizons in the art world. We looked at several different works of art by a variety of artists who each had their own unique styles for inspiration. Gina really helped me develop my ideas into drawings that would have been for less interesting otherwise. Her expertise and encouragement has made a big difference.

Gina gave challenging assignments that were interesting to me but also helped me learn and remember important historical events in many eras of ancient art. It was easy for me to follow her class instructions and assignments. However, if I happened to be unclear about anything, I found Gina to be easy to access and very helpful.

Gina was very helpful in explaining the fundamental tecniques and skills of drawing. She provided helpful critiques during the progress of each assignment and after completion. The critiques were encouraging and helpful to keep me thinking about the next assignment and how I could improve. She always introduced new medias, tecniques, and ideas.
