Giovanna is just brilliant, wish I had discovered her sooner. I got to read Italian books for the first time (we didn't have a textbook but we read a couple of novels) and it was great. She is just such a well of information and very high energy but not in an annoying way. She's also hilarious & will help you in or out of the classroom no problem.

Professor Bellesia is wonderful. She cares deeply about her students and connects course topics to current events, adding relevance to the material. She is fiercely smart, and while gentle, doesn't miss a beat. Essay instructions can be unclear, but this is because she wants her students to rise to the occasion and think outside of the box.

Prof Bellesia is such a sweet heart, so funny and so smart but her first year seminar moves at a pretty slow pace and is almost too relaxed. Such a good person to know, fantastic personality that makes it almost worth the class, but often found myself bored.

Wonderful professor. I went into the seminar with little interest in the topic, but her dedication and enthusiasm made it one of my favorite classes. She pushed me as a writer in a good way, and I benefitted from it. She cares a lot about her students (and is also absolutely adorable). Take a class with her!

Giovanna is an absolutely amazing teacher. She's a drill sergeant and will make sure you learn your stuff. She's also really funny and friendly. She even took care of my pet fish for me over winter break.
