Group work everyday basically for him to keep up with attendance. There is an attendance policy but he's not strict on it so you have to stay on top of your stuff. You read about 100 pages a week but don't bs the reading although you can b/c the final is cumulative. But prof is nice & will work w/ you if you talk to him!

This guy is the man. Classes have the same pattern every time and everything is very straight forward. You have to do group work every class period, but its an easy way to boost your grade. Homework is very simple. He's a really nice and helpful guy! All books are available online for free which is always a plus.

After turning in several small assignments over the course of the semester, the only grade that counts is the portfolio. Thinking I got an A, I was mistaken when my grade turned out to be a B+. Students must DEFINITELY edit their papers how HE wants them to, or else he will take off points. (Not to mention, his handwriting was very hard to read!)

Wickliff is pretty soft spoken and the tests are boring, but he's a really nice guy. He's genuinely interested in what he's teaching and loves to talk to students about technical community theories. Unlike some of the other technical writing teachers, he doesn't shoot down your opinions or answers to his questions and takes them into consideration.

Dr. Wickliff is awesome. The reading is a lot, however, you really end up learning things in the end. He also seems really passionate about the subjects he teaches. Totally dig the guy.

Boring, boring, boring. This class was dreadful. About the only thing good about it was that it was in a computer lab. Nobody had a clue what the point of the class was. Dr. Wickliff is a smart man, but he needs to change his teaching style desperately. His grading style is just about as vague as his syllabus is.

He's a pretty good English professor, but his classes tend to be borderline mind-numbingly boring... lots of useless group work, but he will help you with your papers if you need it...
