He is a good teacher. He will give you necessary notes to pass the tests. The essays are fine if you put an thoughtful effort, does not have to be write or wrong. He will speak to you if you miss to many classes but likely you still will pass if you study on your own. Seems to be an expert in his field.

Most boring class. Reads directly from the textbook which makes the tests and quizzes relatively easy. As long as you argue your point, he'll accept it. Has an annoying chuckle after every sentence but means well. Lacks in the patience department for slackers.

oh my gosh-get out of this class before it's too late! The material for this class (critical thinking) is painstakingly boring. And Mr. Malone, while a nice guy, is not that great of a professor. Get out of the class unless you don't mind being bored out of your mind for an entire semester...

Very boring class but not too hard.Only grades are a few papers&a final. Look online for information&just paraphrase"e it in your paper&you should get a good grade.Syllabus says attendance affects final grade yet he doesn't take attendance,so attendance is not very important.I never read or pay attention in class but i'm doing perfectly fine

Class is easy as pie. Never take an early class with him! Monotone voice is too easy to fall asleep to. Nice enough guy, but so boring! I rarely went to class, but got A's. Assignments can be done in half an hour.

Yeah, boring. I haven't smelled him, so I can't verify that one. If you aren't a critical thinker before hand, it may be difficult to follow the discussions, but when you're focused, you shouldn't have a problem.

CRAZY, to put it simply. class is very easy, doesnt really care about attendance, just know when things are coming up. he does smell bad, isnt clear on anything, and argues with students when students are actually right...oh well

This class is so boring. Mr. Malone is a really nice guy, but the subject matter- critical thinking- couldn't be any more boring. He doesnt have a strict attendance policy, though, and if you keep up with the reading and the journals, the tests aren't hard.
