He changes all of the vocabulary/terminology of EVERYTHING used in the book so trying to match your class notes and the textbook is completely impossible. Everything in class is 100% conceptual with no real exercises until the exams where you're left to figure it all out on the spot. Completely useless, avoid this "prof" at all costs.

Worst class I've ever taken. He is completely unclear, notes are all over the place and difficult to understand. Basically he doesn't know how to teach. He uses the black board and writes too small, He doesn't go with readings from the text book... The first midterm was quite easy, but the final was RIDICULOUSLY HARD! Avoid him at all cost!

The way he teaches is old school. He writes on the board and you take notes. He is good at getting the point across too. If you like this style, I really recommend him. Getting the textbook will help you, but its not essential. Organization could but better but its not too bad.

He is awful. I do not understand how he is still a teacher employed by the school. His lessons are awful and taken straight out of the textbook. He can not explain anything and gets extremely flustered by questions. He will not tell you anything about the exams and it seems as if he doesn't even know what its going to be on. Western must fire him.

Every midterm, all the students had to fight questions because he would have on average 5 questions marked wrong. To be honest, the disorganization and lack of attention he puts into writing his midterms and final is disappointing. I avoided taking courses taught by him after my experience.

All the people badmouthing Glen must either have terrible attention spans or are born whiners. Granted, he's not the best prof, but he's decent. Lectures are a little dry but if you listen carefully and take notes then you can do well.

Avoid this class if you can. I recommend you take another stats course. He is probably the worst professor I've ever had. He is poor at explaining concepts, never responds to emails, and very uncaring towards his students.
