I hope, I read all comments here, before I took class. Believe them, people aren't writing just because of grades. Topic itself is great, but she is not someone who can Teach. Also doesn't curve the grade. If you are non-science major, take some different class, seriously.

It says it is for non-science majors but unless you are very comfortable with in depth detail it will be extremly confusing. I worked hard and learned a lot but it really wasn't worth it. She really is a very unhappy woman who seems to feel it is her duty to share this with her class. 15 page paper + hour long presentation = not worth it

Neuroendocrinology itself is a cool topic, however do not take this class. Professor is as fake as can be, pretends to be nice but is truly arrogant & self-absorbed. Took her 1.5 months to return midterm exams. Not organized. Practices grade deflation...Can BU hire some new BIO professors already?? seriously.

Really horrible teacher...her lectures are not organized at all and it seems like she is reading/telling instead of teaching...says ummm too many times...She is confused and lost all the time...when you go back home to read notes..you realize that she has no order of teaching and just confuses everyone. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS WITH HER.

Was rude to me when I asked for help. Expects her students to get C's, which most students got. If you arent one of her favorite suck-ups, dont expect her to remember your name, even in the last week of class.

She has this air of arrogance that i cannot stand and her tests are way too hard for an entry level class, especially it is noted as a non-biology major course. Her tests are way too tedious and is nothing like what she says she's looking for in her study guide. She treats her students like inferiors, it is extremely upsetting. NOO for this class!!

Callard's class isn't as difficult as the others report, but it is more difficult than it should be. The tests are tedious and the presentation and research paper are unnecessary, but she grades more leniently than expected.

The material is interesting, but she loads it on you. She's hard to talk to, and loves the sound of her own voice. I learned a lot in that class, but it wasn't fun. Memorize the study guide, AND your notes and charts in the book or you'll never pass the exams. Only take the class if you have to.

She is a b**** socially, if you try to get to know her at all. Puny freshman arent worth her time. But she is a good instructor. She is very intelligent. Dont take her rudeness to the heart; she is just like that.

Way too hard and in-depth for an 'enrty-level' class, as she described it. All she talked about were how great her grad students are and she hates freshmen. She made several people cry... Don't take this class!! It was interesting but way too hard to be worth it!

Unnecessarily difficult course. She tries to turn a 100-level class into a 400 or 500-level one complete with presentations and 15-page papers. Know what you're getting into here.

Biology majors aside, this class will decimate you. Five hours a week, legendarily hard tests, an hour-long presentation, and a 15 page paper...all for a 100 level class.

Brilliant woman, awful teaching abilities. Lack of passion for teacher students about the material, although she had passion for the material itself. She should only work with rats, they are more suited to her teaching style than undergrads.
