Goody Cooke, what a guy. Great story teller. Make sure he tells ya the one about when Nixon visited the Pope. He does rather good impressions of people (vocally). Smart guy, rather liberal but doesn;t show it terribly much, certainly doesn't force it but definitely suggests it. Loves to talk about neoconservatives alot. Material is kinda boring.

Cooke is one of the best professors at SU. He is an incredible story teller and a very interesting lecture. He assigns a lot of papers but is a fairly easy grader. Take a class with him if the oppurtunity presents itself, you'll be glad you did.

I loved this class and I loved Cooke! He is a wonderful professor. He covers the material in international relations exceptionally well and although his lectures are frequently repetitive they reinforce important concepts into your head. As he himself says, his goal is to make his students learn. The paper topics were interesting and the tests easy

This man is always very helpful and it is quite obvious that he cares a great deal about his students. The class is extremely easy and he always reviews the material in great depth before the quizzes. I would recommend this class to anyone interested in Political Science or International Relations.
