I was a student of Gordon's a number of years ago (early nineties) and I can't help but laugh at the comments left by these so called students who if they weren't spoon fed a pile of text book crap that they could then mindlessly regurgitate from memory to get their precious A end up blaming the teacher for being difficult to understand. Pathetic.

He knows his stuff. There's no doubt about that! He's just sometimes ahrd to follow, but he means well. I did well in his class because I took the time to go chat with him once or twice a week. He loves this.

Brilliant man and sometimes really hard to follow, But he knows his stuff, and he really wants you to learn. Nothing comes for free though - you got to be willling to work hard. Take advantage of extra help. This is where you'll really learn.

Dr. Callon was hard to understand at first, but very smart. Once you got past the way he seems sad all the time and like noone likes him, you find he is really warm and wants people to learn. He once said that the hardest profs are usually the ones you appreciate most, and i agree. Looking back i have a lot of respect for him. cool guy.

Amazing man. A tough prof at times, but his door was always open to give extra help. He's intelligent and very interested in the subjects he teaches, and to students who are willing to put in effort he is a wonderful professor.

Though he is very intelligent, and aims to set his students to the standards he expects, he can often appear confusing, and seemingly not helpful. It is difficult to get an answer to get an answer to one question without getting numberous other facts unrelated to the question. He does care though.

Brillian man, but extrememly hard to follow. Go talk to him every so often and you'll probably be fine. Not the greatest as a prof for first years, but as he's the only one who teaches 1253, you're pretty much stuck with him.
