A lot of extra credit is offered, because you need it. You are also glued to your book - you will read cover to cover. Don't like that you cannot see your tests unless you go in during her office hours, I don't have extra hours every two week to look at a test. Read the book - the exam study guides help. Takes luck to get the perfect score.

This class is for people that take their education seriously and want to learn. Jean is a great teacher who really cares for her students. If you fill out your study guide you should be fine on the exams. Yes, there is an exam every other week, but if you just study, you'll be able to pass...and there's always extra credit!

This class has a signifigant amount of work!!! You really need to study. There is a lot of tests. One every other week. It wouldnt be that hard if she didnt complicate things as much as she does. Yes, there is a lot of E.C. but she never ever updates her moodle and doesnt even give you all your credit. You have to hound her! Id so, dont take her.

a lot of extra credit offered, but it is a lot of work. lectures have little to do with the study guide/questions on the test. lectures can be repetitive and at times seem pointless. a lot of studying required, unless you go to her pre-tests.

The extra credit is nice, but I learned nothing. I only showed up because it's required. Her lectures were flaky and uneducational. Her study guides are a lot of work, despite the test only being 50 questions long. Extra credit involves showing up to class an hour before the test, which is hard for some people to do consistantly.

The tests are difficult--if you miss class and don't put in the time. I did very well because I take my education seriously. Plenty of EC opportunities to learn. She is tough with a heart of gold. You will learn so much; so her experience is a must for psych majors. If you are afraid to study hard, please don't work in a health career. T/Y

She is a little odd.. Especially if your class lands on Halloween. ;-) But her class is easy, even if you do bad in tests you can make up for it in extra cretit points. just do the work and you will get an A. (pray the grass cutters don't come near the window, she will try to scare them) hahah.. :-D
