Ewing is a decent (as in civil) prof but his class and marking style are not. His lectures are dry and adding to the fact that the class was at 10:30, i missed most after the first few. Meh not worth it Geo majors say he sucks, and the class material is great, just dry.

This class is terrible. The lectures are boring, the data used to illustrate concepts is out of date, as are the readings, and to top it off, the grading and exams are very hard. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS, unless you want to suffer.

Is this "libelous" enough? Everybody will agree with me: HE IS A HORRIBLE PROFESSOR. He's one of those stereotypical McGill profs that only cares about his "research" and couldn't give a damn about his students unless he has a personal affinity for them.

Once out of frustration, i got a Masters student in Urban Planning to write an assignment just to see if he actually graded the content. One of his favorite, students who had written the same assignment with glaring errors and flaws, still received a better grade than me. HE'S BIASED FOR SURE!!!!!!

I think you guys all need to get over QM. It's not a hard course and the material will help you later on. Ewing does the best with the material he has to work with and I think he's a pretty decent professor. No one can say he doesn't try to help students.
