What he teaches you in this course is both basic and outdated. Read his useless research. Gordo is a tenure collecting paychecks; his knowledge and passion for his department is uncompetitive and weak. Slides are outdated and in class examples are from the 80s (really?!). Project topic was the same for each group and was an absolute bore. Waste oT.

I took intro to Marketing course with Gordon, it was a lot more work than I anticipated. You have to complete a lot of case studies which I didn't enjoy at first, but if you work hard you can do very well. His midterm was easy. The class also had a large group project AND an exam. He was very accessible outside of class (I emailed him A LOT).

A lot of case studies, but he takes the best 9. He likes it when you really try to apply the theory you learn in class to the cases and likes to debate with people. If you can support your point with theory that you have learned, you should be fine. The project and presentation can be tough, but keep it interesting and you will be fine.

Gordon Fullerton is a great prof. You will have 2 case studies to hand in every week, but he only collects a certain number of them. He likes when yo speak up in class and are opinionated. You need to buy the case study pack, but not necessarily the textbook, he slides cover all the material in the book. Plus no final exam!

Gordon is a great prof. Covers case studies in each class and a different marketing aspect in each class. His grading on case studies is a little vague though. His midterms were fine and as he said they would be. Group project was fun and really interesting and the class has no proper final except the project. Would definitely recommend him.

Good guy, for sure sit at the front and be involved with the lecture. He respects students who participate. He assigns case studies, and a lot. They aren't hard if you understand the criteria, he's willing to review them before they are due to ensure you're on the right track. Additionally, no final exam! only 2 midterms.

There were case report every week, 10+ pages' reading with a reflection. Group work was required. As an Asian student, the marketing stuff differs from the Canadian market, so his lectures really gave me a hard time. His good "Canadian humor" did not make sense for me. The textbook was useless. The tests were easy as long as you memorize something.

Gordon's lectures get pretty boring, but he is enthusiastic about teaching the course material. The course work is not hard, but you definitely have to put the time into it. I found test questions were tricky, but I felt he was an easier marker. I put lots of effort in this class and got an A-. There are 2 test and NO FINAL EXAM.

Fullerton is smart and interesting to listen to during his lectures. Tests are as hard as they should be, we're in University. The dude loves Coke Zero and references sports, music and cars a lot. Great professor.

If you want a good grade this one isnt going to come east to you. Hes normally an MBA prof and he will use his MBA sldies to teach. He does not use the textbook so don't bother he makes you buy an IVY school of business pack and makes you read 15 cases that are 10-20 pages long cases and then uses those cases to relate to the midterm and final exam

He can explain the case well, However, when it comes to explain the theory, He is just freaking boring. Harsh marker. Only recommend him if you really want to major in marketing. Otherwise, this course will crowding out your time

Never Take Classes with him. He thinks and undergrad students as MBA students. Make you work through out the term with more than 15 Cases. Uses Slides from his MBA class. Final Exam is full of broad questions about 14 of them. Save yourself !! Do not take classes with him...
