PC was a blessing to have received for my first semester at WAC. He taught us a lot including note-taking and analytical skills, which has made me not only a better writer, but a better college student as well. He expects a lot from his students but only because he sees potential. Take this course as an INVESTMENT for success in your other courses!

Most ridiculous grader ever. Rewrote a paper 5 times for him, met with him each time in which he found new mistakes. He even wrote an entire outline for a paper which I followed exactly, then gave a low grade.

Cousineau ran a real college literature class. Expected you to know your stuff before you walked in. If you listened, you learned. If you worked hard, you learned. Generally in a good mood. Liked to discuss student interpretations. Literature scholar.

Ignorant and arrogant, he loves his own opinions and doesn't appreciate new/different approaches and ideas. Classes are generally not well organized and are based on suggestions of possibilities that students should then take as gospel truth. If you ever make a bad impression on him, his opinion of you will never entirely recover, so a rehash of ideas presented in class is your best bet on exams and papers.

He's quite brilliant and those who appreciate the fact that he has a true passion for his subject area will also appreciate what he has to offer his students.
