Two midterms, weekly homework, and a final. They're difficult; you have to study, but that's expected for university. Awesome professor. Gives amazing lectures, super accessible outside of class, and gives clear explanations. I took this course for fun, and it certainly was fun! I would definitely go out of my way to take more lectures with him.

Gordon Lee is an amazing professor he is engaging and doesn't mince his words. He finds time to tell engaging stories while students are still writing and budgets his time impeccably. I would highly recommend him as an economics professor. Any class he is teaching you should take

While his midterms are pretty tricky, Gordon's classes were always good and he finds ways to make them funny and engaging while never straying from what you're supposed to be learning. Would take his class again!

My favourite prof so far! Super engaging about a course I'm not super passionate about. Notes are really well done (does not post them online) his midterms are hard and all multiple choice, but he gives you tons of practice midterms so if you study and know what you are doing its fine. Really enjoyed his class though.

Phenomenal professor. He will NOT post his notes online, and for good reason; the majority of understanding the concepts in class are done through well thought-out allegories and metaphors. He is a very clever, enthusiastic, and articulate professor. I enjoyed this class so much I ended up switching my minor to it, even though I joined late.

Kept the class interesting, really fun and understands that there is more going on than you just focusing on that class. Amazing well respected smart professor.

Such an amazing prof. His lectures are enjoyable, informative and clear. Not only does he give students a chance to take notes, but also he uses that time to tell a funny story or a joke. The exams are not hard, but also are not easy. I would say they have the ideal difficulty. Recommend taking with this prof.

Taking economics? Take this prof. I was honestly worried about having to copy notes from the slides without any online copies, but within two classes I was 100% on board and I never got left behind. The tests are difficult, but study hard enough and you won't have an issue. Just don't skip class. Seriously.

Solid prof, extremely helpful in helping you to build up the foundation in economics, but his exams are definitely not those that you can just study notes/textbook and circle the correct answers, you need to think, relate, apply, one more step from the things you learned. I guess a slightly harder exam is what I pay for having such a great prof.

Super funny and most interesting prof I had during first year. He gives great examples, so you can remember them easily. Also gives lots of sample midterms for practice. He doesn't post notes online, so you gotta go to class or scam them from someone else. Just make sure you know your stuff for the exam.

Gordon Lee is a good professor overall. He gives good lectures and is clear in his expectations for the midterms and final. However, he uses the same notes every year so if you have a copy from someone who has taken it previously, there is no point in attending lectures. He is funny though so I would still go.

Amazing lectures, and a really funny/interesting professor! His lectures are never boring, and he actually knew how to explain a concept. He would always go over topics if they were confusing to the class, and gave the class extra time to finish completing notes if they were extremely long. His midterms are hard, but he never gives boring lectures.

This was the only lecture I used to look forward to every MWF. The prof was funny and the connections between course material and real life made understanding content easy. All the exams were very similar to his previous exams and online homework took about an hour a week. Overall the course is a GPA booster and the prof made class exciting.
