I would not recommend his online course if you are someone that is trying to take on an online class to be flexible with your schedule, his course is consuming. His rubrics are not clear, and because he does not believe in one right answer he will not give you all possible points. When you ask him to clarify he just resends you the syllabus.

Online class. Professor Reynolds requires a lot of reading, besides the textbook, there will be supplemental readings, which are long. Blackboard participation is weekly and plan time for thoughtful answers to 4-6 questions, and giving thoughtful responses to several classmates. Four research papers are required. You can earn extra credit.

This class requires a lot of work. The journals are often 10 pages long, and the rubrics for papers are not clear. I followed the rubric and used the book (which did not help) and still got a B at best. His online class feels like he is the only class that you are taking. Very strict grader on the discussion boards.

His expectations are high, but he always grades fairly and objectively. He also makes lectures interesting, which is a bonus. I would recommend him!

Fantastic teacher for Advanced Comp, took a 100% online course and there is a LOT of work (chapter assignments, lengthy writing assignments, etc) and you MUST post regularly in the discussion to get full marks. If you are a skilled writer, you'll do quite well even without regular participation. Gives feedback, answers questions, etc. Great class!

I'll admit that some of the assignments are a little lengthy but if you put in real time and effort, you'll easily get an A. Prof Reynolds has a 72 hour rule for turning in papers where he looks them over and gives good feedback so you have time to make corrections before turning them in. Tough grader, but overall great professor.

Topics of the papers kind of sucked, had to do a lot of research. He cancelled class a lot which was nice. Lecture is pretty boring and we did group work every single day.

Professor Reynolds is generally a good proffessor. There are three major essays due and the work you put in them is the grade you're going to receive. In my opinion, he is a fair grader. I lost track of time with turning in my final and he was kind of enough to still accept it and give me credit. I would recommend him.

Horrible teacher. Refused to grade my papers and just gave me a zero instead of taking off points for things he didn't like. AVOID THIS CLASS. He gives little feedback and is not clear with his instructions. English 2 shouldn't be this hard. He is also very rude.

Only teaching done was teaching myself! Twice made references and expectations of being a 300 class. Rude comments with very little actual feedback!(example: highlighted paragraph and wrote, what is this?) I paid for a professor, what I got was a JOKE! Avoid him at all costs!! Other kids taking Engl 250 couldn't believe how hard he was.

He isn't a bad teacher after all. He will scare you at the beginning, but I just use it to help me fight through it. You get what you deserve in his class. If you put forth the effort and time. He will reward you. He really makes you think.

One of the rudest people I've ever met. You need to expect to teach yourself the material and receive negative, sarcastic comments if you do something wrong. DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER!!!!!

I wouldn't recommend this guy to my worst enemy. He's condescending and not very helpful at all. His syllabus doesn't match what he really requires. He grades your papers based on opinion because there is "no right or wrong answer". I usually get great grades and I am barely getting by with a B-. Save yourself the time and avoid him!

Lots of easy points available in his class (group work, online quizzes..). 3 big papers, but if you attend the required conference, even with no work done, he will make you feel confident that you can do it. Easy A for effort. Class consists of taking notes off power points, don't bother! You will never use anything you write down. Happy doodling!

I do not like him at all! When I responded to questions with things that were specific to my life he said my answers were "generic and ok" He's not willing to explain things or work with students. And expects everyone to get online for 20minutes, 4 times a week to respond on discussions... not all of us have that kind of time! STAY AWAY

He is not willing to explain things. He fights with you and does not comment well on your grades. I received a 37/40 on an assignment but yet he says I'm rushing and I'm not trying my best. I do what the assignments say to do and get a good grade but yet I'm not thinking as hard as the other students (as he put it). I'm a 4.0 student! I've never been criticized like this before!!!!!

ONLINE FORMAT: Reynolds knows what he's doing. He establishes clear goals and an easy to understand path on how to get there. Assignments were challenging but he gave great feedback and answered all questions via an email format. I wish all my instructors were as gifted as Reynolds.

Online class. Yeah you do need the two books because he gives you online quizzes that consist of 4-7 questions. Pretty simple though. Do not miss a question because they can add up and hurt you in the end. 4 writing assignments. Only one made me a bit stressed, other than that, they were CAKE!

Professor Reynolds is a very unique guy. He has a sense of humor, but seems like a person who wouldn't take**** from people. Seems to be realistic and helpful in ways. Grades for attendance, and in class assignments, online quizzes on fridays and 4 lonnnnngg papers to write. Thats it!
