This guy seemed really nice at first, but would ask a lot of personal questions. After my course I kept running into him which made no sense since he lived in Cobble Hill. I am scared of him and would advise women taking his course to steer clear of giving too much personal information.

An excellent surveyor, knows what he is doing and has lots of experience. Very helpful and friendly. Lecture's are dull and slow, and he has difficulties explaining things but can show you and demonstrate perfectly.

Helpful, friendly guy, though he sometimes over-explains things to the point where you don't really know what the big picture is, and end up blindly following steps. This is okay if you want to just get by, but terrible if you want to understand the big picture. Also tends to write tests that take much longer than the designated time.

Yes, the material is a bit dry, since it is a beginner's course, but WOW Gordon is an amazing teacher. SO understanding, SO helpful, VERY personable. I would reccommend him as a teacher to ANYONE. Definitely wants you to do well, and if you study for his tests, you'll be fine. A+++ for Gordon. Great guy

the material in this class is SO boring, especially at 9:30 in the morning. Gordon is a great guy though, easy to talk to, easy to joke around with, and trys to make it as exciting as possible. The labs are easy except the exams are pretty difficult

Gordon is a laid back teacher. He is really helpful and wants everybody to do well in his class. He does a good job teaching this subject which I find extremely boring.

well, the class was certainly boring. Everything is pretty easy, except for the tests with the tricky multiple choice deals. I don't know if I'd take one of Gord's classes again, just because I don't really identify with loving computers. But he was a good guy :)

Yes, the material is boring, but Gordon is a nice guy with good experience. He went more in depth with the material than I expected, which was cool. He puts all of his lecture notes and assignment outlines on his website which is very handy. A very organized prof. Highly reccomended.
