Did you watch the comedy movie Back to School? This guy was like the character played by Sam Kennison, the loudly screaming instructor. He went off on rants that had nothing to do with the subject matter. I am still trying to figure out why he blamed our parents for his tangents.

I am happy I found this site so I can share my opinion. I thought this guy was crazy. The rants about nothing and his use of "alt facts" to make his points. I honestly do not believe he holds a Ph.D. I just cannot see it. From my recollection, he was constantly pulling things out of the air to make his points.

he is the prof of keeping it real. Every historical connection he made in my class makes perfect sense. I relate to him and the fact that he was a bad student like myself. He believes students just memorize and dont learn his class is all about listening and learning and not just memorizing facts his style of teaching lets students actutually learn

Decarie: Love him! Thought his memory concerns me, he does have a very realistic way of looking at historical facts. I loved his tangent comments before class. I have a feeling that he does enjoy picking on some of the guys in class. Overall, good prof-a little difficult in the marking though. Deffinetley worth a try.

He is DA MAN. A genuine Human being, he's a tough marker, but when you get an A in his class (and I did) it really means something. BTW, I'm not some spoiled rich kid - I'm a high school drop-out and my story is similar to his. Very inspiring prof.
