Less a teacher, more a note-giver. Simply show up, write down everything he puts on the overhead (don't worry about asking pesky questions, he hates those), and do the assignments. When the test comes around take the notes, assignments, and handouts with you. Each and every question on the test is in that material. If you are smart you cannot fail.

not a bad guy at all, reminds me of mr rogers, tests arent impossible just study the notes! go to class even though he doesnt take attendance, THE NOTES ARE THE TEST, everything in the "practice book" also on the tests

Teacher is unclear and tests are impossible, he is a time clock, a 25 mins class and during that time i've learned nothing... the question packets he gives you to complete to use for the test are no helpful at all. avoid this class if possible.

Yes you can use notes but the test are impossible. I copied the entire chapter and still failed the test. He really needs to either make the test reasonable, or give other assignments so that the final grade is not just three test.

Take lots and lots of notes, do the questions in the packets, and show up. The tests can be complicated, but are open-note. Grassel is not a bad guy, really. However, his use of accents and repetition can get a little irritating.

He's not that bad. He gives you notes and lets you use them on the test. He doesn't take attendance. As long as you do the work you're fine. However, challenge the test answers...some of his are wrong and you'll get screwed if you don't. I recommened him.

His class is really easy. If you just show up and take notes you have all the answers for the test right in front of you. He doesn't really teach just takes questions and concerns. Doesn't take attendance, just show up and you'll succeed. I reccomend him.

hes not bad... class was pretty boring.. especially the 3 hour night class, but if you copy everything into your nbook you can use it on tests and you will do fine if not you'll go home in a "body bag"...his favorite expression. His war stories are classic. not a bad class but you gotta do the work

His tests are open note, but it doesn't help much unless you write EVERYTHING directly from the text. He picks weird facts from the book to use on the tests. He smokes in the room next door so his class always smells. He has a good sense of humor tho.

If you're ready to work and know how to take an open-note test, this is the course for you. He's only old and boring to people who think they know everything. This class is a must, esp. if you're doing culture clusters.
