Professor Cluff was the best, I would take his class again. The test is basically the material covered in class and he makes sure to point it out during lecture. You only have lab once a week and they are truly not difficult at all. There is extra credit given in lecture and lab which makes it impossible not to pass. Attend lecture and do the work.

Professor Cluff is a great teacher, with the classroom being as big as it was, it was never difficult to contact him. He always responds via email, and his lectures are interesting enough. He gives out a handbook of all the slides which is very helpful.

The professor is easy to approach. Very slow paced lectures, easy to follow. Textbooks are affordable and match the in-class powerpoint exactly. Highlights testable material clearly, no surprises. Lab required lab tests are extra credit only. Offers plenty of extra credit. Does not care if you attend lectures, it is possible to self-study and pass.

Professor Cluff loves plants/Agriculture and the science behind it all, it shows by the way he passionately teaches about the function of plants! I took the summer course, it moved very fast, a test every Monday, and so much information to learn in such a short time! Interesting class though!

Literally lectures do not matter. If you go to the labs and pass the quizzes you will get an easy A. The con for this professor is that he reads everything that is already in the seven dollar lecture book you have to read or study for the quizzes. It can be a bit annoying to go to lecture when you have everything you need in the packet. easy grader

The guy is very unclear. Mumbles and laughs after every word when he talks. He gave us a pop test?? Never heard of that before. Has also entered the wrong grade for my test and assignments multiple times dropping my grade. So no telling if he entered my final right or wrong

This is a great class. I always looked forward to lab. He splits the lab (1:00 or 2:35) since the room we use is small so you pick a lab time for the entire semester. Lab is very hands on and you learn a lot. I had a blast. You do group work for all the labs. Exams are based off the lectures and study guide and he rarely offers homework.

I decided to take this class in order to fulfill my requirement for a lab. And I'm so glad that I did! The labs were easy and he always lets class out early. There's no presentations, the labs pretty much just consist of you and a couple of others answering questions on paper by cutting, identifying, and doing small experiments on plants in lab.

I took an online CRPS B1 class with Professor Cluff, and enjoyed learning about the subject matter. He is knowledgeable, passionate, and had a crystal clear grading system. The class had the choice to do a, semester long, field lab or a weekly online assignment that were simple and useful for students, as well as weekly open-power-point quizzes.

His classes can be boring, but they are do-able. He used to call students out for not paying attention, however it was well-deserved. He was pretty funny and awkward, the fact that I constantly wondered how his toupée stayed on his head added an interesting twist to his classes. lol.

Great guy. Easy, often boring class. Took his plant biology/CRPSB10 class this summer to satisfy my science with a lab gen ed requirement, as all the other lab sciences seemed too hard for this slacker. He laughs at all his own jokes. The "textbook" is really just a book filled with all the powerpoint slides he uses. He tells you what's on the test

Easiest, most boring class ever. He tells you what's on the test and then you take it. Labs are short and simple, usually end early. All homework was extra credit, and even that was minimal. I didn't take notes. I didn't study. I got an A +. (Not that I recommend that - study how you need to, but that's all I needed)

His Plant Biology class is fantastically simple. 4 tests and a final. Easy labs once a week. No homework. Extra credit possible for each test as well as a couple extra credit homework assignments. I highly recommend this class to anybody who needs to fulfill a life science requirement and/or a lab science requirement.

Professor Cluff is a pretty good professor! He doesn't require a text book for the class, and insted has two packets you have to buy-- pretty cheap. His lectures can be kinda boring. He's funny in a nerdy way (duh). Lab assignments are fun & really help comprehension of the subject! Easy A!

Really awesome professor! Pretty easy to get an A in the class.... the good news is that this biology class fulfills the life science + lab requirement for CSU or UC transfer!!! This is WAY easier than human biology, way easier. So if you need to take a life science + lab take this class without hesitation. LOADS of extra credit, and EASY tests.A+!

Class was extremely easy and informative. Everything on the test is on the book which are basically screenshot print outs of his lectures. He tells you exactly what you need to study for each test and is very accommodating. If you get an A on all tests you don't have to take the whole final :)

This is the easiest professor ever, and if you are a non-science major, such an easy class for the lab requirement! He lets class out early almost everyday, and the labs are easy and fun. I got all A's on the first 4 tests so the final was not cumulative, which made studying super easy. He gave out tons of extra credit which is a huge plus!
