Where to start. He teaches with a disdain towards his students. You can tell he thinks he's superior. He has you teach yourself mostly. His lab experiments have totally unclear objectives. His tests are a lot more difficult than what he teaches in class. I would NOT recommend taking this class especially if he is teaching.

Makes things much more difficult than they should be. Aplia is ridiculous and his tests are crazy. I've had other ECON professors and they are just so much better in my opinion.

He makes his students do unneeded work that is suppose to help when really it only makes you more confused. His multiple choice sections on the test, are very tough and unclear. He is a funny guy but a very poor teacher.

I experienced pre-internet Greg, and he was a very different instructor back then. He has never been overly helpful when one has a problem with understanding, but in general he clearly explains difficult concepts. He seems to have cracked down and gotten a bit more crotchety as he has aged, but early-mid-90's Greg was a decent prof.

In the class you have online asignments and he doesn't teach the material for those until after that asignment is due. The stuff he teaches in class is clear and easy to understand but the homework asignments (online and paper) are completely different than what he previously taught in class.
