Arguably the best professor I've ever had. He always keeps class lighthearted and fun and really cares to get to know his students. ALSO he taught a class on Harry Potter. I would have made that class my major if there was a way

This guy is awesome and very interesting. Quite possibly one of my favorite profs at Baylor. I truely enjoyed his class. The reading is painful but i didn't read hardly anything, just pay attention in class. Don;t let stuff pile up or it will be the bane of your existence.

Typical of most creative writing teachers - spends more time on feelings and emotions than on grammar and style. He is agreeable and supportive - just don't expect your writing to improve under his direction. Holds sparse, spare, Hemingwayesque style as the standard of good writing.
