Comment:
Dr. Halseth is very knowledgeable when it comes to community development. He genuinely cares about the students who take his class and always asks how we are doing and is open to moving deadlines to reduce stress. Overall he is a good teacher, however the lecture itself is boring, he mostly reads the powerpoint. Also there is a lot of reading.

Comment:
I enjoyed the class because of the guest lectures, but I found Dr. Halseth's lectures both boring (particularly the jokes) and condescending. There were no surprises on the exams, but be sure to check carefully to see that assignment due dates on the outline and the assignment match.

Horrible class. He never teaches it.the whole semester i think he lectured 5 times.Always a guest speaker, makes it hard to gauge how test questions will be asked. One good thing is that there are review notes posted from every class.lectures very boring. You can get a B in the course if u do the work
