Comment:

Unreasonable expectations. Tells you to do one thing and when you do it he just smashes it. Art is suppose to be creative right? Not in this class. If he doesn't like what you're doing he will tell you and make you change your whole idea. Also always arrives late to class. Don't bother coming right at 8. He usually doesn't get there until 8:15.

Let's just say I would avoid taking 3D art with him at all cost. He is not clear on what he really wants from yo and ends up grading your work right in front of you. Don't even bother trying to create your work using the rubric. He will end up just making up his own criteria. It's like he refuses to give A's. Not a fair grader at all. Opinion based

He is a really great guy. However, he always changes the criteria for the projects so you should really listen to when he talks or ask him questions. The work itself isn't hard especially if you pay attention to his demos. He doesn't particularly check attendance but you will be responsible for keeping up on your work.

This is a professor who may not be the most organized or clear in directions, however he is so talented and encouraging. There is not a day I don't enjoy his class. His creativity is inspiring if you are open to it! He responds well to people who work hard in and out of class, maintain regular journal drawings, and seek advice.

Prof. Henry is a nice person, but his directions are very unclear. Most of the time he will change the project rubric so be sure to pay close attention or he will lower your grade. Also, if he tells you to do a project his way, I recommend doing what he says even if it is not what you want to do or he will deduct points from your grade!EXTRA CREDIT

henry has very unrealistic expectations of his students and the class. He always expects an absolute masterpiece which is just not possible given the timeline he has created for the course. He's not malicious, just unrealistic with expectations. Basically do exactly what he recommends for your artwork and you might get a B+ on the project.

This class is the bane of my existance. I wish I had never though, "Art sounds really cool!" and taken this****. Seriously. He leaves for like an hour during class, makes you redo your project HIS way, and treats you like a 4yr old when he teaches. You can't even call what he's doing teaching. He's a creativity-killer- no joke.

Exuse my warboling but taking this class was one of the worst decisions of my life.Basicly He retaught everything I learned in pre-k and then added some kindergarten to spice it up a bit. Save yourself the B- for maximum effort. This class has no A's. Don't take it. I promise, no matter how much you love art, this class will make you hate it.

This guy is ridiculous. I took his 2D Design class and the first thing he said was that he's good at 3D, not 2D. He never has any idea what to do, what is going on or how to teach. He talks quietly and is just an overall idiot. AVOID taking this class!!! You'll regret it. The assignments are pointless

Totally scatterbrained. His syllabus/handouts make no sense whatsoever. He changes every project several times & never accomplishes what he set out to do. Gives advice that makes no sense & will say something different the next day. I wish there were other professors who taught his classes. Completely infuriating to be taught by.
