Can't keep a thought for more than 30 seconds. He'll ask a question, and then forget he asked it and go on a tangent, forgetting to answer it. He'll begin a sentence teaching a topic and before he finishes the sentence, he'll be talking about something else and forget to go back to his original thought. Get used to filling in his blanks.

Jeebus christ, Western amazed me every year, allowing this guy to teach ANY class is simply mind blowing! Goes off Tangent, slides are out of order, EVEN the TAs have hard time following this guy's lecture. If You want to do good on this course, GO to the TA Help session! TAs from last year should teach this course, not Kelly.

In my opinion he is a really great proffesor. Sure his lectures may be confusing and and he does go off on tangents to tell you stuff you don't really need to know (like how much a TEM costs) but he does a good job making students think and learn for themselves instead of spoon feeding you information during lecture.

He's an ok prof. Shows a true passion about the subject although he is highly disorganized. He 'loves' to deviate from his topics and he NEVER finishes his sentences... you will often find yourself reading a lecture with numerous unfinished sentences when you're reviewing. In terms of test questions, they're extremely easy if you're well prepared

I dreaded everyday this man taught. He would spend the beginning of class rambling on about completely irrevelant stuff. Then, he'd spend the slightest amount of time on information we'd actually be tested on, and instead ramble on about useless information.

His lecture and slides are poorly organized! He is a terrible lecturer as he constantly digresses. My God, he needs to get that Narcissistic Personality Disorder treated (loves himself to death). To succeed in the class rely on the textbook and carefully make sense of lectures on your OWN! Also, use the TA's (I know some of them are quite scary).

It's true he is really in love with himself. But that's not the aweful part. His lectures in 338 are terrible..he doesnt post notes up and the worst is his exams that arent MC and requires a lot of guess work if you didnt listen closely to experimental findings. Dont ever take this course unless it's absolutely required for you.

One of those profs that are in their own ivory tower. Rambles and goes off on ALOT of tangents. Lecture slides are a mess - not very organized. Midterms are very difficult - you really don't know what to expect.

His developmental bio lectures are the most ridiculous things ever! He doesn't post any lecture notes and assumes you have done his assigned readings prior to every class! I spend the whole lecture scribbling as much as possible while still trying to make sense of things. Do not take this class unless you get Sash as your prof!
