I LOVED pyrcz. I had previously failed this class with Stewart but retook it with Pyrcz. Needles to say he is HILARIOUS and he's always open to assist you. If it wasn't for Pyrcz Political Science would definitely be a snooze.

Didn't enjoy the subject material so found it boring depsite his best efforts. Kind of all over the place, but funny and interesting and great thinker. Loves his Aristotle and cup metaphors a little too much. Good prof, I just had the bad luck to have him for a class I didn't like.

Pyrcz is challenging, but definitely worth the challenge. Taking his class is truly a life changing experience, as a student. It forces you to think outside of the box and to consider new approaches to reading and thinking. However, despite being challenging, his classes are also entertaining because of his great sense of humor.

Pyrcz connects with his students. His style was a bit hard to get used to; at first I thought he was rambling then I realized he was a lateral thinker. He pushes us to think for ourselves. If you read what he suggests, and take the time to actually think, and not memorize, you will learn a lot. I learned a method of thinking, not just facts.

He's a firecracker, just great! But don't except to fall in love with political science, it's still boring despite his efforts.

Profs like Greg are why my kids will be encouraged to go to Acadia. Bewilderingly intelligent, yet with saintly patience for anyone willing to put the effort in to 'getting it'. Witty, engaging, quick as a whip and oblivious to nothing. Ladies and gentlemen, Greg Pyrcz is the sh!t, straight up.

Prof who cares what YOU think. Don't heavily research your papers and tell him what other academics think -- he knows that. He wants to hear your thoughts and musings, so go in with an open mind, and have a good time.

Very helpful, although he sometimes rambles in his lectures a little bit. Still knows his stuff very well and is able to explain it in many different ways. His class is more of a discussion than a lecture making it quite an enjoyable environment.

Best prof I've had at Acadia. Takes a bit of getting used to. You'll know all the words he uses, but rarely will you understand what the all mean strung together. You WILL increase your vocab though! Always willing to help you, and if you talk to him, he'll always remember your name. Also not a prof who takes offence if you disagree w/ him.

Best lecturer on campus - less strong at cultivating discussion in upper level courses - especially when in same dept. as Stewart who is masterful at generating and fueling class discussion.

Pyrcz is an unorganized mess. His lectures are horrid and the successful ones in his class are those who mastered the are of bullshi****. Because that's what he does in class. Yes, he's entertaining and quite witty, but there is very little substance to the core of his teachings. Don't take him.

Pyrcz is the best prof. I've ever had, hands down. He's smart, funny, and wears high tops. He's a fairly hard marker, but he gives his students a challenge, which is great. Highly recommended.

Sit me in a chair with some single-malt scotch a little Mozart in the background and a light reading of Aristotle and you've got a class with Pyrcz
