Dr. H is the best professor I have ever had on campus. His class is hard and a little demanding, but he does his best to explain everything he discusses and his door is always open if you need help. He has a great sense of humor and a wacky sense of style. It doesnt hurt that he's probably the hottest professor at ECU either. TAKE HIS CLASS!!!

This was the 3rd class I've taken from Dr. H and I have to say he's still awesome enough that I'd take other classes from him if they were offered. He's so passionate about what he teaches it's contagious. He makes learning fun, and he's very fair. He wears the cutest sear-suckered suits with bowties too- it's adorable!

I loved this class. I'm a junior and this was one of the first English classes taken that I've enjoyed. I mean come on... it was offered on MWF at 3pm and I only missed one day. It was that good. Dr. H. is a great professor! I only wish he taught other classes I would be interested in taking.

Dr. H. is the coolest professor ever. Sure, he wears bowties and weird suits, but his passion for literature, especially Victorian lit, shines through in every class he teaches. He is extremely helpful, and though his readings are demanding and quizzes are slightly difficult, it is not unfair, especially for a 4000 level class. RECOMMENDED!!!

He is awesome! I would recomend him to anyone. He takes attendence, but if you miss he normally will record the important classes, and (he gives you 6 absences) so you won't get too behind. The on-line quizzes were a little difficult, but if you do your work, you will be fine!
