Comment:

Taking BMS100 online with this professor was not a good choice. He gives your powerpoints to read over each week for the weekly quizzed (which are extremely hard) and you also have to write answers to questions every week AND post in a discussion board every week. I felt like the whole semester I was only doing BMS homework constantly.

Do not take this class online. The book does not help with the weekly quizzes and neither do the powerpoints. It took him two weeks to respond to my email. No bonus points. He doesn't actually teach you anything. This class is NOT an introductory course. Don't take for a Gen ed.

Took this class online and was very hard! He barely communicates with his students, takes forever to upload grades, and to get in contact with him. He gives quizzes every week and only gives 20 minutes to complete which is not enough time at all. Does not offer extra credit

This class is difficult by nature, but this instructor made no leap to help. It takes forever for him to get back via e-mail and his lectures are pointless. They contain some info, but nothing near what is needed for the class. The book is useless, and I used the internet to find all the info I needed. If you want to teach yourself, take this class

Horrible instructor! He starts off the course by saying he's not an interactive dvd so it may take time to get a response. He NEVER responds! This course should not be online with him as instructor and with the useless book used. He takes weeks to update grades, which is pathetic for a summer course.

Terrible instructor!!! A raging hypocrit, and an arrogant propaganda spewing simpleton. Spent more time on a soap box crying hismantra of how scientists are underpayed/appreciated than actualy teaching subject matter. To pass this class just ignore lexure (rhetoric) and just read the book and know someone in medical field. Tests require working knowledge of anatomy in an introductory class. Another example of someone who failed at doing and so they took up teaching. Avoid this instructor!!!

I had him for an Internet class, he always had a problem with getting back to us and very rarely posted what we needed on the site. You get a LOT of work, if you love Bio., unlike myself, then you'll love this class. Lots of work.

If you're taking this class for Gen. Ed, I recomend that you take something else. It's a challenging class, but Krumme is a good lecturer. The tests are difficult and fairly long (103 questions). You just have to study ALOT.

Great class and teacher. He's a very smart guy who makes class enjoyable. I had to study a lot for the 3 lecture tests, but the final is copy and pasted from the 3 tests, and he posts the answers by his office. The lab is difficult, so be prepared to study and work a little bit. As long as you find the material at least a bit interesting you're ok.

Krumme is simply a genius. Some people found this class difficult, but I loved it and I didn't think it was that tough. Just do your work, DO YOUR PART IN LAB, and you will get at least a B. I got an A by studying, attending every class (you get points just for showing up), and applying myself in lab (even if it is only worth 1 credit). Yay Krumme!

He's fast in his lectures, but if you pay attention and actually write things down you can do fine on the tests. They are tough, but he drops the lowest score. He makes the lectures enjoyable to say the least. Don't take if you aren't going to try.

Going into the class, I didn't like him at all and I thought he was really arrogant. But he's actually not anything like that. He's really smart and knows what he's talking about. Tests are pretty hard though and he gives attendence points. I definitly recommend him.

Krumme is awesome! He makes the information intersting. The class requires studying, it is not an easy A, but i think his test are fairly simple. He gives answers to quizzes before you turn them in! Everything he gives will only help you. I really enjoy his lecture!Take him for lab if you can as well!!
