Great person, can be confusing when teaching. Be sure to follow along in the text book. Very clear in instructions for tests, and in preparing for tests. Helpful to consult a tutor. Good textbook, and adequate amount of homework, attendance is mandatory. Really great guy overall.

Bill is a nice person, but his marching band class is too easy. For a university, I felt that I should be challenged more than I was in high school. That was not the case. I really hope to see a real college marching band someday.

This is the piano class and I would highly recommend this to anyone who has any musical experience. It is super easy and the exams are the best. Super fun and easy class. Take it if you have any musical experience. If not it may be slightly hard.

Bill is somewhat of a good teacher. His abaility to challange the band needs help. I am not sure if it is all him or if its the women who writes the drill. We are a State University... lets have a professional write our drills. Our music is usually quite easy. I wish that we could get challanged more. MY HIGH SCHOOL BAND IS BETTER THEN US!thats sad

I had "The Piano" with him,he was an easy-going, laid-back person. Tests were easy, learning how to play the piano was hard for some people. Lectured very little, overall positive experience.

It is so obvious who Bill likes and who he doesn't. He treats his favorites completely different than he treats everyone else. He treats the drumline like they don't matter; as if they aren't even a part of the band. Bill hates the drumline.

Well, theory 1 wasn't bad at all, I got a high B, but I fear for my grade in theory 2... Bill doesn't knowanything about cadences and he seems to have a hard time explaining 7th chords and figured bass. If you are in teh same boat as I am, and haven't had theory before, study a lot and buddy up wiht a smart kid, or else you are screwed.Band = easy.

Bill's class is a bore, but if you can stay awake you can learn a lot from him. He tends to let people step all over him, which is unfortunate. If you study for his exams, you'll do well. Very nice individual.

Bill is a great teacher in a class room setting. He will help you out and tell you exactly what your doing wrong and he puts up with alot in class. But as for directing he really needs to put his foot down and demand respect.. he's WAY to easy on people and i think he gets a little distracted sometimes because he misses a beat occasionaly

I havent taken him in two years but I still remember what his classes were like. I had him for concert band. Completely playing favorites and admitting it to us, he put people in order, not by actual talent or seniority but who kissed the best ass. I do have to say he is a nice person but too biased
