Greg Canning was probably the most interesting person I have ever had teach me about film. Comming out of his course I found out that I hate "New" Hollywood. I wanted to buy Dracula and instead of going for Gary Oldman I went straight for Bella Legossi.

I really loved this class. I never knew how many good movies there were before the 60's. I found the assignments alot of fun, although for some of them it was hard to get ahold of the movies. There may have been to many assignment for such a short class. Though it was still one of my favorites!!!!

i liked the class because we got to watch some pretty good movies. BUT i found that he gave way too many assigments for a 3 credit course. it took up way to much of my time from my other courses and he marked rather hard. i acutally regret taking this course.

This guy drives 5 hours just to teach here! His class was one of the best I've taken, especially if you're a film buff like me. Don't brush it off as a rubberhead course though, because you definitly need to do some work to pass.
