Dr. Ottley is a well knowledgeable professor. You'll never know your official grade in the class. Don't buy the book, you never use it. She want nobody to stress out so tests usally have a study guide. There's a couple papers, but nothing challenging.

As a professor she is fine, but she is such an amazing sport psychologist and person. She is very talented and enthusiastic. I learned a lot just by being around her.

Ottley is a very successful woman but not a good professor. Her lectures are all over the place and never talk about what's actually going to be on the test and she NEVER explains paper and gives last minute assignments and expects them to be due within a day or two.

Ottley is a great person. She is caring and has many stories to tell about her work in the field. Which is great.. until test time comes around. You don't learn ANYTHING in class. She re-formatted her tests this semester and they are very confusing. Multiple choice but the questions either have double negatives or "all/none of the above" CONFUSING

Dr. Ottley is a good person, but as a professor, she is the worst. She is not clear with due dates, and in fact, she had 3 different due dates for the same assignment in her syllabus. Also, she doesn't respond to emails. I ended up just reading the chapters before the tests because I didn't know what was going on in class.

Overall easy class but we somehow did learn a lot. Lecture was made up of some powerpoint notes, discussions and sometimes group work. Never bought the book. Quizzes were a couple short answers, no homework, one project and presentation at the end. She's great, love her accent. can be very unclear, usually has no clue what you did last class.

Dr. Ottley is a great professor although she can be very confusing at times. She definitely wants the best for all of her students. I would take her again if I ever get the chance!

Very nice person with good intensions. Though very disorganized. Also not very clear with due dates and labs due. Test very easy, all online. Grades never put up on time either. It was her first time teaching this class so I'd cut her some slack.

DO NOT TAKE HER FOR A 3 HOUR CLASS, she is awful at time management. She is very smart though, and if you can understand her you might be able to get a lot out of her. Don't bother emailing her, she won't get back to you. Don't worry if you think you have a bad grade, I knew I was getting a B and somehow ended up with an A.

very unclear at times. hard to understand what she is saying and what she is talking about. kind of scared me when she would stare at people in the class. she was hard at first but once you figure out what she wants from you then it will get easier towards the end

besides p.k. smith, she is the worst teacher at wcu. she is an idiot stoner who doesnt teach anything at all. she just talks about theo (T.O.) and then puts on movies. i have no idea how she grades because we never do anything

not too hard of a class but you almost have to participate. She practically gets it out of you. Dont take her if you hate participating in class, however i suggest sitting in the front of the room, she tends to pick on the people who sit in the back.
