I honestly distain this man. He tells you the test will be over one thing, and then you get there and it is over something we hardly covered. He rants in his lectures about random things that have nothing to do with stats. He also has ridiculous rules like no asking what your grade is (no grades are on d2l) and no asking questions about the test.

This is literally the worst teacher I have ever taken. He gives reviews and a ridiculous amount of notes, then his tests are WAAAY different. There may be 10 multiple choice, the rest has to be written out, it's SO difficult. Do NOT take him. This whole class is NIGHTMARE.

Professor miller is an amazing teacher. His teaching style is very straight forward. He writes all his notes on the board. However, YOU NEED TO GO TO SI!! I went to every single SI session and passed the class with an A. It's an intense class but an A is definitely possible! And I suck at math!

Just be prepared to seriously up the amount of work needed to make a passing/good grade for mth359. Dr. Miller makes it a lot easier, though. He's really nice. His lectures are very detailed and note-oriented. Do your homework and come to class.

Worst professor I have ever had in my entire life. I would rather pull teeth than have to go to this class again, he does not teach well at all and he slams doors in peoples faces. I advice as many people as possible to NOT take him. And I love math. He wrote the text book and even that is terrible. This was my first failing grade ever

He's a great teacher. It's a hard class. One of the hardest classes at SFA - I'm told. He's willing to help and is a nice guy. Gives partial credit for problems

This is a hard subject. If you're required to take this course and you're not very good at math, Miller is the best prof for you. Half of his tests are definitions, T/F, and short answer. He wants you to know the concepts. If you're really good at math, but struggle with English I wouldn't take Miller. If you're a pictorial learner take Miller.

It was horrible! Yeah statistics is hard subject but why make things harder than it needs to be. I went to class everyday took notes and everything and everything he said made absolutely no sense. He is a good guy but he is too smart to actually teach the subject to where students can understand . Never in his office and SI barely helped -_-

He is the best prepared teacher I have ever had and quality is apparent. He comes to class with his lecture notes written and he tells the students to copy them word for word. Wonderful lecture and studying is easy with your notes (not to mention he gives a review for tests). A+

It is a pretty difficult class but Dr. Miller is a great teacher. However he is a VERY VERY picky grader. I sersiouly put "a" instead of "an" and he marked off half a point. Just make sure to study your notes OFTEN.

I highly recommend this teacher. Tests are identical to the notes and the practice problems. He is very helpful and a great lecturer. Go to class and you will do fine, he writes all the notes on the board so there's no confusion on what should be on the tests. Half of the tests is vocabulary and true/false.

I highly recomend taking Dr. Miller for Mth220. Total grade is based on 4 tests, 3 are worth 100 poins and the final is worth 150. I didn't use tutoring and made a C but I studied very hard. He does alot of definitions plus problems so be ready to memorize. He does extra credit but you do alot of work for only one point, its not really worth it.

Dr. Miller is a really nice guy. His class was actually fun. If you have to take this class, take it with him. If you know your notes WORD FOR WORD and study the review sheets exactly as he gives them to you, you will be fine.

Dr. Miller is by far one of the best professors I have ever had. He is very helpful. Take my advice and study the notes, and go to him any time you get the chance. If you take this class and never once talk to him outside of class, you are missing out! This was my favorite class I have ever taken.

He is a very good teacher. He will help you in anyway you can. Do what he says and Study your NOTES! They are the main thing. If you do that you will do fine. You must study though. I don't like math and I really enjoyed this class. I had it at 8AM and he makes it really interesting and does wake you up. I would take him again.

He is a great teacher. He knows his material and presents it in an understanding manner. I got a B in his class. He is VERY helpful. You do have to study, but what class don't you have to study for? Tests are long but very helpful to study for the final with. I left class knowing the material.

He tries to impress everyone with how smart he is by making the class unnecessarily difficult. I've heard this from others as well. He comes across as arrogant and he's definitely not hot. A little dorky.
