Wonderful human being, exceptionally kind and generous in all ways. My mentor and friend, took me under his wing as a transfer to Linguistics. If for him, I would've rotted here. This makes up for any bad teaching over the years, unfair grades, unkindnesses, etc. He's retired, but tip your hat if you see him. A friend of students, humanity.
