Professor Liu is a very kind and helpful instructor for Computer Science. She explains the details of the lab work at the beginning of each class thoroughly. Her accent do not prevent her students from understanding her, and she will offer help to anyone who needs it. I would recommend her to other individuals taking Computer Science!

Look, Guili's absolutely a wonderful person -- very maternal, very understanding, and with a voice that could lull God himself to sleep. But she has her set routine, and if you don't fit into that -- say you came with your lab assignment done -- good luck changing it. You'll sit there for 30 mins until she's done lecturing. OK, but my last choice.

cant understand her .maybe its just me but... gets mad when asked a question but is nice when sh teaches. if stuck with a program she made it even worse.she has this idea that u can still do it. ive walked in with work done and left 3 hrs later because she made me change it, i got confused and refused to help.god i wish i took it with someone else

Very friendly, and helpful. I personally didn't pay attention to her in the labs very often though simply because I wanted to do the work since I know what I was doing already. (Sorry Guili) :P I didn't find her accent bad at all, so maybe she improved a lot since previous semester comments.

This is a really nice teacher, always cheerful, and incredibly helpful. It is made very clear what is expected of you and what you need to do to succeed in her lab. She goes the extra mile to make sure her students understand the material. Heavy accent, but you get quite used to that very quickly. Just remember, fell = file!!

She is such a sweetie! I loved how she would walk into the lab every time with a smile on her face. She tries to encourage you to figure stuff out on your own if you can, but when I was totally stuck on one program, she made sure I understood it before I left. She does have quite an accent, but I didn't really have a problem understanding her.

Great Lab instructor, did her thing @ the front and let those who knew what was goin on do thier own thing. Only thing I ever hated about any lab i've taken was lab proffs who put too much emphasis on listening to pre-lab instruction. Not this Lady. She knows her stuff and is very good @ helping when asked. Not so good engrish tho.

She is adorable, I want to give her a hug every time I see her! But I can't understand a word she says. My advise is to do all the practice labs available, and that would definitely help out in the class. Give her a hug for me!

SHE knows what she is talking about but I don't. She has a very strong accent and I had trouble understanding. The class is a breeze if you do your work, though you may have to teach yourself with the text.

NEEDS to speak better english - unintelligible accent. Needs to let us work thru the lab rather than reading it to us for 20min. Needs to explain how our lab mark is distributed (ie how much for attendance, completion, lab test etc). She's nice, though.
