Awesome Course. The professor is very down to earth and makes the material very interesting. If you attend classes, which I did, he emphasizes what to know for the exams. I wish he taught more courses.

This was my last KINE course at York University and my only regret is that I did not meet him any sooner, he is the best professor I have ever had. The course content is a lot but he helps you through it.

Awesome prof. Can tell he really cares about his students and is willing to go above and beyond to help you if you're struggling. You definitley need to study and work hard to get a good mark, but the tests are fair and he makes the content interesting with powerpoint presentations and lots of pictures! I'm so glad I took his course!!

Great courses and course presentation. It is an early course but had at least 85% attendance, that says a lot. Slides are very helpful and the labs re-inforce the class material. He cares about his students. One of the best profs at York.

Gus is by far my favourite Prof at York. He's hilarious, his lectures are amazing, and very clear, his tests are very fair and he cares a lot about his students. He is also well respected in the Sport Medicine field. The course content isn't easy, but he makes it very understandable. You definitely need to put in work for this class, but I loved it

One of the best profs in the Kine department. He has a lot of personality, his lectures are very clear and organized, and the exam questions are fair. He doesn't pull tricks with the wording, just tests whether you know it or not. There is definitely a lot to know, but I didn't find it as hard as other people said it would be. Just put the time in.

Nice guy and interesting course but ridiculous amount of material to memorize. Hundreds of slides packed with text and trivial facts (percentages, etc). Also expects you to read TWO textbooks (one of which is extremely dense and very difficult to read). If they got rid of the textbooks it would still be a lot of material but more reasonable.

An incredible professor, knows his stuff extremely well and makes lectures very interesting. He's very approachable and willing to help you out if you have any questions. Also has a great sense of humour in lectures and outside of class. The tests are by no means easy and require you to know the material inside out.

Took both courses that this professor teaches (Athletic Injuries - Extremities) and the Body Core 4th year course. Awesome courses, instructor very clear and patient and the labs really reinforce the course material. Two of the best courses taken during my undergrad.

Great prof. He's able to relate everything you learn to real world experiences and has no problem explaining things you don't understand. He's one of those profs that is there to help students succeed. Good marks are definitely attainable, and the material is great stuff to know. His only downfall is that he's a Habs fans... haha

If you're looking for course which integrates the years of kinesiology taken prior to, take this one. He's excellent because he's a practicing clinician, has interesting experiences, and covers the basics. Lab is theory but irregardless, informative.
