I personally didn't find this class very interesting, bought the book and only used it once, instructions for the papers were extremely unclear and the teacher doesn't answer to any emails I sent. To add on, he only posted the grade the day before the semester started without caring how it affected the students.

I dont think i’ve ever met such a genuinely nice professor. He was so funny, kind and understandable. The only down side is that all he does is show us powerpoint (all on moodle) and there are no readings, which meant no one came to class.I felt so bad for the guy. TAKE HIS CALSS THOUGH HE IS THE COOOLEST!!!!!

Dr. Lachapelle is a great professor. It was a pleasure to have the opportunity to take his class. He's very well known, and well regarded in his field. He's always willing to respond promptly to emails. As far as his grading goes, he's very fair. I highly recommend that you take his class.

Easy class if you put in the work for your papers. no tests, just a final at home and 2 papers. good but didn't focus on what is expected of quebec politics class. Did not see any bias towards quebecois, fair and nice, go to class even if no exam...he's good.

I took two classes with professor LaChappelle as a part of course driven Master's Degree. Consistantly approachable. On the flipside he relied on overheads and there was a noticeable slant in grading that seemed to give preference to Quebecois students at the expense of their english counterparts.
