He knows his stuff. He won't cushion your feelings, but if you follow his advice you'll be making A's by the end of the semester! The class is super laid back, we did AP Style quizzes every Wednesday (open book), chapter presentations (super easy) and wrote stories. Love this class!

i love dr. reel! i've had him 4 times & i still don't have anything negative to say about him. he has an awesome personality - very laid back and helpful. he's also very understanding. i thought his classes were fun. he's definitely one of my favorite mass comm professors. and today is his birthday...happy birthday dr. reel! you get a chili pepper.

Do your work and act interested and polite and you will be okay. This is a class mainly with MCOM majors so if you take yourself and your career seriously you'll do fine. Reel is definitely open to questions and very easy to talk and joke with so don't be afraid of him!!

Reel is an amazing teacher. I only wish he taught in my major and not in journalism. He is funny altough he can be serious when it comes to teaching and assignments. Don't get cause with your phone or talking. The only think I would say I didn't like was not enough time to report and do interviews outside of class and do the article in class.

Simply the best! Knows his stuff. Makes you realize life is all about enjoying the moments you're given. Harsh grader at first, but it's as if he is testing you on your mental strength to do better. He wants you to not only stretch your imagination, but reach for the unknown. HIGHLY suggest his classes.

Guy Reel is CASH MONEY! This is by far one of the coolest teachers around campus. He's funny, and is rather laid back as long as you show up for class and do your assigments. He's a hard grader at first but he's looking to see improvements. GREAT teacher! He says he wants a chili pepper, but he ain't gettin one from me...

I love him! We never stayed the whole class period and he was always making us laugh. Although you do a fair amount of busy work, it never takes long, and if you complain enough, he'll usually drop a few assignments. He's VERY easy to get along with and helps you whenever he can! (I'm giving him a chili pepper just so he can see it and smile!)
