This class was super easy if you just did the work. Guy is a great person but I don't think I have actually ever learned something (school related) from him. I don't think he has a good teaching style. But he is an AWESOME person.

Prof. Zimmerman is not a bad prof. he's pretty laid back and is quite funny at times. his grading scale is hard too. The class itself is a little difficult but you are put into teams for the semester which helps. as long as you put effort into the class you should have no problem

Nice guy (also his name), tries to make CS interesting and always stops and asks if anyone has any questions. He will sometimes put things in the programs that we haven't learned which makes them more difficult to implement.

I was confused about some assignments, but saw him during office hours and wound up doing well on all of them. Tests are easy except the 5-10 multiple choice, otherwise if you know the material you're fine. 3ish tests, 4 projects, occasional homework. He has a great sense of humor but you still learn a lot, very fun class. Highly recommended.

I may have rated Zimmy low in the categories provided, but he's a pretty good professor. He's laid back, quite knowledgable, and he knows what he is talking about. His grading scale isn't the easiest, but I have the easiest time getting a high grade. Unfortunately, he is next to useless in helping and he's cryptic on assignments. Good otherwise.

Has unclear grading standards. Handing in a program is a lot like playing a guessing game as to what he's actually going to look for. I've had him okay one thing in office hours on my program and then drop my grade a full letter for the exact thing he looked over. Extremely poor communication - rarely answers e-mails.
