Do NOT underestimate this course. Even the smallest point assignments will bite you hard at the end of the semester when your desperate for points. Do the extra credit opportunities. Also, make friends with the ceiling because...well...take the class, you'll know what im talking about.

I found the textbook more helpful, honestly. I had attempted to go in at office hours and she isn't clear when trying to explain and her teaching in class isn't that much better. The assignments aren't bad if you read the text or know how to research, but are sometimes off-course to the purpose.

Awesomely cool. The ceiling is our friend, and so is VB. If you miss class alot don't take this class. If you can't stand quircks in a person don't take this class. Our group used a MS Wizard and got an A. We used to drink at our group meetings. Most drinking I've done for a class. Very useful information. Her & Barnes are good for this GUI course.

If you have no back ground in chip development this class can be confusing. MUST COME TO EVERY CLASS, this is not her requirement, but if you skip this class will become hell for you. She does not explain things very well, few examples, and she looks at the ceiling a lot. I found it hard to learn.
