Very easy class. Expect ALOT of reading though. Majority of the work is online and you must learn most of the things in class yourself. A very sweet lady and offers extra credit. Lets you make up every quizzes and keeps all of the grades up to date so you always know how you are doing.

She is very nice and understanding. She has interesting lectures and the class is pretty easy. But, you have to do the readings to pass the online quizzes. Everything in this class is clear cut for you, she posts the lectures, the lecture notes, study guides, etc. If you put enough effort into the class, you will easily pass.

By far the rudest person I have ever met, has no respect for her students, basically shows off how smart she is but won't share her knowledge with everyone else. It's ironic that she takes points off on papers for being unorganized meanwhile her lectures aren't even slightly organized. Lectures are all over the place making it impossible to learn.

Half of the information she wants you to know is not reviewed in class; you must learn it yourself outside of class by reading the textbook. Her lectures are all over the place and she kind of just skips through and reads off slides without thoroughly explaining anything. She's a tough grader and takes points off for the slightest errors.

This class is hands down the worst class I have ever taken. Advice: Stay away from this teacher!!! I wish I could give a 0. She focuses too much on the wrong things. The writing exercises aren't even that bad, the assigned readings are just terrible. The only good thing about this class is it doesn't meet on Fridays. Wish me luck, I might fail.

Professor Crane is a very nice woman and she is definitely willing to help you out. The quizzes are super easy that you don't even need to do the reading for if you have a clear understanding on simple grammar. She's a bit of a tough grader on the papers but she'll be clear on how to improve.

She overall ran a good class. I have few complaints aside from the lectures being fairly dry. She is a fair grader with clear rubrics and standards. The quizzes and homeworks are very doable with the textbooks. There is a fair amount of reading and writing, but she selects novels that are interesting and fun to read (coming from a nonreader).

Crane gets a bad rap sometimes but honestly she is one of the best professors that I have ever had in my college experience. If you want to do well in her class, TALK TO HER. Go up before of after class and ask her about questions you might have and she will love you. An easy A, for sure.

It has been a while since I studied and worked under this remarkable lady. She believed in me and she pushed me and encouraged me in my work. She passed a love of learning on to me that I still gladly suffer with. She gave me my first teaching gig as an adjunct at SUCO. A great scholar and mentor. I will always be grateful to Dr. Crane.

I don't know why people are complaining about the amount of reading, she teaches English courses... She is really organized with her syllabus and if she updateschanges anything, she sends an email out right away. Very sweet, helpful, and SO, SO smart. This woman knows everything! Take at least one of her classes!

Dr. Crane is a really great proff. She outlines her class in an extremely organized manner so that you will not get lost among all of the online assignments. The content can be very difficult, but she posts all of the lectures online and they are all very detailed so it's easy to study for quizzes.

It's nice having off Fridays, but one day doesn't give you enough time to make up for the huge amount of reading you are expected to do. Crane is sweet, but the work load is way too much for a level 200 class. Be expected to know vocab, reading comp, geography and write a long response for tests.

I absolutely adore her! She's always very kind, very helpful, and very humorous. She gives extra credit, and she doesn't have class on Fridays. Her quizzes can be challenging, but they are always multiple choice. I wish she would teach more courses!

Very good class. The class challenging even if you have done the readings, but it is an upper level course. Go to office hours if having a difficult time with the text, she will help you to make sense of it. No class on friday's due to the class being a hybrid but often times you will have poetic exercises or reading comprehension but overall good.

Shakespeare with her was alright. Never went to class unless we had a quiz in class. No class on fridays and all assignments and quizzes are submitted online. Used Sparknotes for most of it if I didnt understand or just watched the movie. She allows 2 makeup quizzes & extra credit. easy class until you got to the poetic exercises. Recommend her

She's honestly such a great woman and the course was really interesting. The books were a little obscure, but likable and quick to read. Online quizzes were easy, but you have to do well on the in class quizzes because the online ones aren't a huge part of your grade. If she's teaching LIT 100 next year, definitely take it with her.

Do not take her summer online class. There is way to much tedious work. She also expects to much in the writing assignments. Very delayed at sending work back. The class will consume a lot of your time. It was very hard to juggle especially if you have a job.

She does require a bit of reading; however, as long as you keep up with the material and attend class, I don't see how anyone could fail her class. She offers tons of extra credit opportunites as well. For those who said that they did not like her because you actua
