If you want to work extremely hard (maybe hiring personal tutor) then take the course with Gwyn. The course is filled with topics that do require some input but he teaches the course on a much higher level than it actually is. I'd go with Sharma or Hu if i were you. He truly is difficult to understand. Also, he doesn't enjoy helping you. Kinda mean

The fact that mechanics is tested by multiple choice does not reflect the interest nor input into the course. Multistep solutions as well as free body diagrams are required to solve given problems in this course; one fractional error can lead to disaster yet an understanding of the problem and its components are understood. Testing methods are poor

Very fast lecturer, but a very good prof. Makes material easy to understand and always explains further if someone does not understand. Extremely enthusiastic about the material he is teaching. You will have to choose to either take notes or listen to what he is saying, it is almost impossible to do both.
