her accent is very strong but she is very passionate about teaching as well as accessible and caring outside of class. her study guides and formula sheets are extremely helpful so use them because the exam will be somewhat similar.

I wold not recommended here. Mostly, you will try to understand what is she saying, foreign "professor", rather than learning the material. She curve test for some people only, which is weird. There are 3 exams final 30% of your grade, and it is really hard. Lecture quizzes every other week. Good Luck.

So this course materials science is a dry course. Nothing fun about learning phase diagrams and what have you. The lectures seem to be fast paced but how else can she fit 16-17 chapters a semester? She's always available during her office hours. Anything greater than an 80 is an A. Thick accent but can be understood you just have to be attentive.

Professor Halina is sooo awesome, she is accessible out of class almost anytime, she is able to meet whenever and when you do meet with her, she is SO helpful. If you don't understand something, go to her. SHE HELPS AND TEACHES YOU SO WELL ONE ON ONE.

This class is graded mostly (80%) on exams; the rest is homework and participation. Professor Opyrchal has a bit of an accent, but once you get used to it, it's manageable. She'll answer your questions and give you review sessions outside of class and practice exams. Subject matter is pretty dry, but she's definitely a solid professor.

For MTSE 301, lectures are extremely dry. She is nice but very hard to understand. Grading is inconsistent. She does not punish people who are obviously cheating which is frustrating for people who actually work. Too much information and she doesnt narrow it down. However, she is available to go over things you dont understand.

She is a nice professor. You'll need to show up because missing one class sets you back a lot. She'll teach slow if you participate but if the entire class is quiet she goes a mile a minute. I needed to pass but wasn't doing well went to her office hours once a week for like 45min and we did hw together. Made it out with C+ just work your butt off.

She is my favorite professor so far at NJIT for sure. She will go the extra mile to help you understand something if you don't get it you just need to ask. You can tell that she thoroughly knows her stuff. She does have an accent but it's nothing that isn't hard to understand. She has a tendency to always say "yes this is what!" its adorable lol.

So nice and very helpful. Physics 2 is a tough subject, but with her, she makes it reasonable. Just do the webassign, and your set to pass. And go to her if you need help, she will give you her time and patience.

I can barely understand a word this woman says. Her voice is the magnificent combination of a shrill old lady's and foreign-ese (call me ignorant, but I don't even know what accent that is.) Otherwise, she does a fairly decent job reviewing the material, I guess. So if you can get past the accent, maybe you'll have better luck than I did.

The BEST of all the NJIT Physics professors. Very straightforward lectures, gives you solutions to hw problems in recitation, teaches what you need to know for the exam. Review sessions are great, she drops hints about the test questions and what you need to know throughout. Great lady!
