Simply put: what all educators should strive to be. His lectures are clear and to the point. He is funny, and also very knowledgeable. He is very enthusiastic about teaching and cares deeply about students. Best professor, if not best teacher I've ever had.

Comment:

He made the boring DSA easy to understand. Amazing teacher. Clearly one of the best profs in engineering. Midterm was really really hard though. But he had told us in advance. And to be fair, he did adjust the grades so nobody failed.

He was often super unclear about content that would be tested, as well as answering questions. His midterm was way too difficult, with a class avg of 48%. He just expected everyone to know java, without really teaching it, so the class was quite divided. He rarely taught things thoroughly, just rushing through them. He's really engaging though.

Does not go to details;so course is easy.Gives good mark without even reading final papers (%60 of mark).I got 69/100, lowest in history, cause I complained about quality of courses to GS. Gets good feedback because he is generous in giving mark for doing nothing specially to SYDE students.

Not professional but he seems like. Teaches too slowly, doesn't get to the point. Always simplify everything to the extend you fill like you are reading the newspaper headlines. No assignments. Bad grades. He will give you a grade based on his impression about you.
