hanlyn was the only art teacher at umass that i don't have anything bad to say about... he is a master at asking questions that force YOU to realize the problems within your own work and to solidify your "artistic vision"... one of the few teachers to respect the medium of comics... too bad he is gone, because most of the other pros were HACKS
