Rockwell's heart is in the right place but she just doesn't understand the students uniformed complaints. If you ask her a question you might get your head bitten off or accused of not reading the material. I hope you like hand written test as they are ALL hand written, no typing allowed. Her personality is very charming but teaching style , Ugh!

Bad to the point of surrealism. this women seems to know nothing about just her own topic but about anything at all. There is basically no subject material to the course and she often degenerates into vague generalities and advice like "wear a tie and smile!" Not worth the wasted time for the grade. Comm theory is not a legit field of study

Rockwell may be bubbly and entertaining, but that comes along with being quite disorganized and lacking in social etiquette. She is a tough grader, even though you would not assume that by her bubbly nature. I would not recommend the course, though it may be preferred by some sorts of students.

This women is SO DISORGANIZED. Keep all quizzes and papers. She uses excel formula to calculate grades. Said she didn't have any of my papers or quizzes. Showed them to her she put my grades in. Her formula was off and ended up giving me two grades lower than I deserved. After 2 days finally got it straightened out. Never even apologized!

Weekly quizzes over readings, easy papers, no tests, 2 months of power point presentations. Not a difficult class, but not a meaningful class either. She's a rough grader and definitely part of the PC police. But she tries hard.

B Rock is hilarious. She is a tough tough grader and looking for a very specific response. If you read your chapters like 3 times and take notes on your own plus go to every single class, you will be fine. Class is fun cause she is such a hoot. I would recommend her for 150.

I felt like she really wanted students to get something out of this class. If you put the work into the class you will do fine. I would highly recommend her for any class you may take. I may be somewhat bais because she's my faculty advisor. If you are able to take her at sometime I would. Plus she's very fashionable!! She can relate to us.

I took her for ethnography and she was completely disorganized. She was unclear and the class was pretty frustrating. She graded the presentations by comparing students to one another. Lots of reading and be sure to turn everything in on time or else it won't be accepted. I wouldn't recommend her for non-majors.

I want her in my family! I loved her and want to take her again. Great personality and class. She is challenging and knows her subject... Even though she does struggle at times to convey it clearly. But I honestly think she is worth the ocassional frustrating class period. Just do the reading and ask questions. Asking questions is really key.

She's a nice person and the class seems extremely easy at first, but she's a deceptivly harsh grader on your group work. Be warned that 60% of your grade is taken up by one big project due at the end of the semester. It caught me off guard with how much work went into this class, but it wasn't horrible.

I will never take a class with her again. She pretends the class is group therapy and your grade is determined by how much you disclose about your personal "troubles." So if you don't feel comfortable spilling your guts in front of total strangers (who would??) DON'T take this class!
