His accent is hard to understand at first, but you get used to it and find it funny later on. He likes to blaze through things sometimes, but he usually says "am I fast?" and slows down. His office hours don't work for me, but he sometimes laughs at questions anyways.

I hate math, but I loved Mr. Hamdy. He is a no-nonsense, cut to the chase professor, and he really knows how to teach. Best math teacher I have ever had! Explained in ways I understood. "You follow me?" If you do the homework, you will do fine on the tests and final. He wants you to do well, but if you don't do the work he doesn't feel bad for you

While Hany is very knowledgeable about math, and helpful if you ask, he seemed to have a chip on his shoulder when it can to me and other four year university students taking his class in the summer. He did all he could to write trick questions on the exams and clearly wanted to give out as few A's as possible. I would strongly advise against him.

The best math teacher i've had in my life hands down, his accent may be hard to understand sometimes but if you ask him to repeat what he said he will glade take time out to help. His enthusiasm for math and making sure you understand the equations is what gives this man his charm! "You follow me?!"

Great teacher. Don't pay attention to those who say is accent is hard to understand...it's not. He's passionate about math and genuinely wants you to learn. Do you know how lucky you are that he actually cares? He doesn't mind explaining things in depth. Will definitely try to take a class from him again.

Hany Hamdy is a math god. He showed me the lingo, life, and love of math. If you try, you will become friends with him, and for the most part you will have fun. "You follow me..." Basically, he's really down to earth. If you want to love math take Hany, but don't slack cause he will burn you soo good. Also, he has a helper grade the homework(8%).

A good, no-nonsense instructor who will help when you need it but is not beyond giving you a piece of his mind for slacking. Efficient use of time in class, even when we had to go back to review. I got used to the accent pretty quickly, but it may make things difficult for some. A good guy and friendly one-on-one, truly wants you to understand.

Awsome teacher. His accent is pretty heavy so if you cannot handle it switch classes quick because it doesn't get any better. All he asks is that you try to learn (aka attend class and do homework) and you should do great.

this instructor is good for people who are serious about math. he is a no bs straight to the point always fills the hour instructor. if your just looking for an easy credit dont take him. if your wanting to go further in math and can get past his accent then he is a great teacher.
