Unfortunately this professor is retiring but if I could say one thing about Dr. Cones it's that he is an amazing professor. He's more than fair, respectful, has high expectations for and cares about his students and their future. It was an honor to be able to take one of his very last classes at CNU.

Funny as hell! Don't let his humor distract you though, his tests seem to be just random crap thrown together with lots of attention given to statistics and quotes. Do well on the geography quizzes and literature assignments, and even if you fail the other tests, you can still pull off a C-...

Environmental Conservation was interesting with Dr. Cones. He knows his stuff clearly, however he can be quite something when it comes to answering questions. If you need help, you have a 50/50 shot of actually getting a helpful answer. Sometimes he sends you away asking you why you don't know the stuff.....he's okay.
