This professor is really smart and should probably be teaching a graduate course on physics. However this is an introductory course for freshman and he's treating it like a graduate course. If you have him I suggest you drop ASAP or already know everything about physics bc you won't learn it in his class.

Textbook is useless because you won't understand him but he doesn't teach from the book. Gives the hardest questions for graded homework. Tries to teach "intuitively" to first time physics students. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Horrible professor. He is too smart for his own good. Did not explain things very well and went off topic often. Tests sometimes had to be retaken by the entire class because even he would admit the test was too hard.

Wost teacher i have ever had in my career as a student. Very nice guy but he is a genius. He thinks everyone is at his level so he does not explain things well. Never finishes a question, can;t give a straight answer. Unless you are at his level do NOT take this class. He also puts things not learned on the exams. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

this class isnt that bad!! just bring a megazine or something and start reading. force yourself to stay awake is probably the hardest test for this course. tests are open notes. the observations parties were fun... hang out time!! recommended!

umm... yeah what's with the strikes? he's a weird quiky guy. Its not an interesting class. Everyone falls asleep in his lectures. You barely use your text. I think i opened it once. He's a weird grader but the tests aren't too bad. You can do well based on your notes...if you take them.

review sheets may not match his exams, but his notes from class do. all exams are OPEN NOTES, simply attend class and take notes. most of the labs are pretty simply, lets you redo them to get an A. he is flexible and always willing to help.

Bad teacher, enthusiastic about what he teaches - hard grader, review sheets never match the test, tries to be funny when he's not, and he makes you come to observe the stars at night, plus do moon journals (waste of time) AND BORING on top of that.
