Comment:

Storms reminds me of an all-knowing wise wizard haha. He has a very calm demeanor and not at all intimidating. When you move up to life drawing 218, doing the hw is not required. Which is a plus. Don't be afraid to talk and discuss with others about your drawings and art in class! I transferred to csulb and wish he would teach there haha.

Stoms is kinda annoying. He doesn't let you talk while you draw but he does play music. Sometimes you don't even ask for help and he sits down and starts drawing on your drawing, trying to help you but I did not like that. He is nice and wants you to succeed but I really did not like his class.

Mr. Storm really cares about your future in art if that's your major. As a beginner he really helped me learn basics of art and taught me to improve myself. It's art. You simply receive the grade your work deserves, although he admires effort. Don't take art if you don't like it. Also, he brought us cookies on our last day!

very helpful, very funny, very down to earth, plays music while you draw, which is a plus. He just wants you to at least attempt the assignments and turn them in on time. Easy grader. Good class!!!!

Took a life drawing class with Storms over the Summer and I have to say Storms is the best teacher by far when it comes to learning how to block in the body proportionately. He really works with you and tries his best to help you understand your mistakes and to improve.I would take him again, great teacher for life drawing.

Storms is a great instructor! He knows what he is talking about and is very helpful. He just wants his students to succeed, esp. the art majors. He gives enough time for drawings to be done and always has advice for how you can improve. I definitely recommend his classes if you're majoring in art.

Tough class. I would only suggest taking it if you are serious about learning to draw the human figure. He is honest when it comes to critisisms but always does so to help you. No mandatory homework really, just practice what he shows you. A really nice guy that will help you solve problems with your drawings but leave your ego at home.

I love this guy. He just want's his students to reach their full potential. He will never talk down any student's work. He will tell you how you can improve, but he's always positive. You will learn a lot. At times I could almost see Mr. Storm's internal struglle to try and give his students absolutely every tool he could to master the craft. LOVE

I took this class over the summer.He's an easy-going guy, but if you want personal improvment, it really come from your own practice. Do what he says, practice practice practice.He makes the class intersting by mixing up 5 minute sketches with 1 hour sketches with 10 second sketches.Fun, tough, cool
