Comment:

One of the few great liberal professors left. He really seems to inspire his students to become very interested with the material that they otherwise may never care about. Also, he finds wonderful ways to tie early American Literature to modern times without ever getting too far off track.

I had him for both 112, and 232. He's wonderful, sweet, dreamy, loves poetry, and literature as a whole. He was kind of tough on the Argumentative based research, but his classes were a great experience. I love the guy. Not to mention he defies the laws of aging, the dude still got it.

Best instructor I've had at CPCC. Very knowledgeable , helpful and enthusiastic. No problem getting an A if you go to class and read the assignments. Encourages class discussion and ties readings into current events. Daily quizzes, 4 exams (half is take home), one final paper. Expect to read aloud in class some, no group projects, no presentations.

Loved his class! I had him like 3 years ago, and I still use everything I learned in that class. We were his class during 9/11, and he was so patient and devoted 1 or 2 classes to help us talk about it. Helpful and fun. No regrets at all!
