Comment:

Very easy class, he does require a textbook but I used once for an online quiz. His tests are pretty easy if you somewhat pay attention in his class. Quizzes are take home, and there is an essay assignment. Overall I enjoyed his class.

AS FAR AS MAY SEMESTER GOES: Sitting in class for four hours with Dr. T was pretty rough. But he is very helpful. Book is absolutely mandatory. Project and National Geographic article review were easy. The tests were HARD. I made C's on both tests but go a B in the class. Dont take him for may semester, but definitely for a regular full semester.

Dr. T is an awesome professor. Textbook not necessary but is a huge help on study guide. Term paper is pretty straight forward. He grades the works cited page, follow his example to the "T". Quizzes are simple-still don't know how some people did bad on them. Just do SG and don't read book and you will do fine.

dr. t is a good guy. you dont really have to attend class to pass as long as you read your book well. i used class as a help if i didnt understand some material.he gives good extra credit opportunities and wants everyone to do well. his teaching is a bit boring sometimes but he can be pretty funny sometimes...i would recommend him for sure

This professor was an all around good guy. He was so willing to help. If you showed interested in his class and met with him about assignments and tests he would help you make an A. I made low B's and high C's on his tests (really hard!), but ended up with an A in the class because I met with him and showed an interest in the class. GOOD CLASS/INFO

Boring. Scattered, no consistency. He doesnt care about anything but his own rhetoric. Grades are arbitrary and baseless. Hard work is not rewarded, and frankly he doesn't even know what that is! So slack and you will slide. Not worth the effort

Dr. T. is funny and very willing to help students (just ask - he'll help ya). Class was varied with assorted student speakers, which breaks up the monotony of listening to one person the entire semester. Learned lots of terms, preparing geog. majors for their further studies. He has a good heart buried under that "merchant marine" exterior.

Well first test I wasnt sure what points to really study and got a high C. After that I got lower A's. Wish the first one could have been replaced or something. Just had a lil pressure to make a 93 on the final but it was all good. Dont hesitate to take him though. You will enjoy it. If for some reason I had to take it over I would with him deff!

Dr. Trendall is an older professor and was a merchant marine in his day. He is not politically correct, so if you offend easily, don't take him. If you're able to recognize and accept the era that he was raised in, and not be easily offended, then this professor is fantastic! He grades fair and is easy to talk to. He answers emails quickly.

Professor has too much annoying busy work and a HARD term paper (except summer) but grades lightly. It is not difficult to make an A in his class, but be warned that he is very strict about his attendance policy. He's edgy to talk to in person, and his lectures are not always on-topic but he is an interesting lecturer nonetheless.

I'm pretty sure I'd get an A the next time I took a class with him, now that I understand his grading techniques. But I won't. His term paper/citation requirements were ridiculous and made no sense. He assigns high school-esque online busy work. Insulting and arrogant. Easy exams, though, and I actually enjoyed the meandering lectures.

He is the easiest teacher I have ever taken! He gives a study guide which is the same material that is on the test. I learned nothing in this class except about the smoking policy at Kennesaw and the merchant marines. If you want to learn dont take him, if you want and easy A, this is the prof for you.

I personally liked this teacher! He takes the time to help you if you need it! In class though you are treated like a High Schooler! He stops the class to yell at people for having their phones out and talking. He can be hard to follow while taking notes. BIG PLUS> STUDY GUIDES!!
